This is the movie we've all been waiting for. A superhero movie where the main character is a woman. A woman who is not weak. A woman who can fight and make difficult choices, like every superhero movie. I believe this moment will forever be remembered in History. Little girls will finally be able to see a woman who is brave, loyal, charismatic and a hero.
Gal Gadot is a wonderful actor. She is Wonderwoman. The acting, in fact, was phenomenal. All actors were amazing on screen and it was possible to see that this was like any other superhero movie, something that is very important because people usually expect a woman to behave differently from man, which is why I believe some people did not like this movie: because they expected Diana to behave in a certain way and she didn't.
The cinematography was spectacular. I believe that this movie brings something new as well on this subject because there is something special about the way that was directed that took my breath away with the amazing views and slow motion moments.
There were times when I was at the edge of my seat and those moments made me realize that the writing was equally amazing. The story is so compelling and so well written that I actually felt I was there with the characters. And when movies do that, they should be praised for it.
The soundtrack was also amazing and the use of it throughout the movie was also very smart and it did not feel like it was just there, but it added something to the several momentums of the movie.
I wish there will be a sequel because this one was wonderful.
